1. Java Workspace Settings File
Stores the workspace configuration for Oracle JDeveloper, a Java software development program; contains workspace settings, such as window placement and palette layout; saved in an XML format.

Java file used to implement Web services on a Web server; contains Java code that determines how Web services behave, including references to Java methods and functions used by the Web server.
JWS files are standard Java class files that use JDK 5.0 metadata annotations to define the characteristics and scope of specific Web Services.
