There is only one file type that uses the .KODE extension:
KodeFile Encrypted File
A KODE file is an encrypted file created by 1SQ Technologies KodeFile, a cross-platform, key-on-demand encryption (KODE) application. It contains a file, such as a .DOCX, .JPG, or .MP4 file, encrypted with AES 256-bit encryption. KODE files can only be opened by KodeFile using a unique decryption key.
KODE files are typically used to secure various sensitive files, such as financial documents, images, and videos. They can also be shared with other KodeFile users, known as confidants, through KodeFile.
To encrypt a file in KodeFile, select .kode extension is appended to the file. For example, the sample.pdf file becomes sample.pdf.kode.on the home screen, add your file(s) or folder(s), and click .
