There is only one file type that uses the .LD2 extension:
Lingoes Dictionary File

- Developer Lingoes Project
-
Popularity
- Category Data Files
- Format Binary
File used by Lingoes, a dictionary and text translation application; contains a compiled source dictionary file and includes terms and their definitions; saved in a proprietary binary format, but can be used for storing custom dictionaries.
In addition to glossary terms and definitions, LD2 files also store reference information for the dictionary, including the title, a description, the author, and the copyright, as well as an email address and a website link.
NOTE: LD2 files are compiled from Lingoes dictionary source files, which use the .LDF extension.
