There are 2 file types use the .LSD file extension:
1. RPG Maker Game Save File
Save file for a game created with RPG Maker; stores the current state of the gameplay so that the game can be resumed from the save point at a later time; by default, game save files are named "Save01.lsd," "Save02.lsd," "Save03.lsd," etc.

2. Lingvo Dictionary File
Dictionary file created by Lingvo Dictionary software, which is used to translate words into different languages and look up definitions; contains dictionary entries compiled from .DSL dictionary files; consists of the headword of the card (defined word) and the body of the card (definition); cannot be edited.
An LSD file may be a system dictionary supplied with Lingvo Dictionary or created by users. It supports different types of formatting and layout options such as comments, bold and italic fonts, and usage examples.
You can create an LSD file from a DSL file. First create a .TXT file, add your content, and then rename the file extension to ".dsl." You can then use the DSL Compiler, which is included with Lingvo Dictionary, to compile the DSL file into an LSD file.
