There are 3 file types use the .LSPROJ file extension:
1. Visual Studio LightSwitch Project
Developer project created by Microsoft Visual Studio development software; used for saving LightSwitch projects, which are used for creating business applications without having to write much source code.
LightSwitch projects are comprised of "data entities" and "screens." Data entities provide the model for representing data and screens provide the user interface elements for how the application displays data.
NOTE: LightSwitch projects are also created by Visual Studio LightSwitch 2011. However, LightSwitch projects created with Visual Studio 2012 are not backward compatible with Visual Studio LightSwitch 2011.

2. Lens Studio Project
An LSPROJ file is a project created by Snap Lens Studio, a program used to create augmented reality (AR) lens effects for Snapchat. It contains a project, which includes a model and the resources, such as materials, meshes, and textures, that make up the model. LSPROJ files are used to add various AR effects, such as a dancing hot dog or floating rubber ducky.
LSPROJ files do not contain the actual resources for the model, instead they store paths to the resources, which are stored outside of the LSPROJ files. LSPROJ files are saved in JSON format.
You can open LSPROJ files in Snap Lens Studio by simply double-clicking the file. You can also open LSPROJ files in a text editor to view the properties of the project.
