Avatar file used by Logitech Webcam Software, a program used for online video chatting; contains graphics, effects, and object recognition properties; replaces a user's face with an alien, shark, or other cartoon avatar during video chat sessions.
By using Logitech facial recognition technology, avatars mimic the facial expressions of the user being recorded.
Users may also use .LVF files to overlay cartoon video effects onto their faces.
