There is only one file type that uses the .MAFF extension:
Mozilla Archive Format File
Compressed Web archive created by Mozilla's Firefox and SeaMonkey applications; saved in a compressed .ZIP format and contains one or more Web pages, including the metadata required to reproduce the pages offline; also contains downloadable content, such as audio or video.
MAFF files are used for browsing saved Web pages offline. Since the format supports multiple browser tabs, users can also navigate between saved tabs offline.
MAFF files require the Mozilla plug-in called MAF (downloaded as an .XPI file). Once this plug-in is installed, you can save MAFF archives in Firefox by selecting
