There is only one file type that uses the .MRML extension:
3D Slicer Scene Description File
3D scene file created by 3D Slicer (or "Slicer"), a free 3D modeling and visualization program used to create medical images; saved using the Slicer MRML XML format; includes references to 3D datasets and scene properties, which are used to construct the 3D scene.
NOTE: MRML stands for "Medical Reality Markup Language." The MRML acronym is pronounced "mur-muhl." 3D Slicer was developed at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH), which is affiliated with the Harvard Medical School.
