There are 2 file types use the .MUD file extension:
1. Mudbox 3D Scene File
3D image created by Mudbox, a 3D digital sculpting and painting application; saves a 3D model with textures and lighting information; can include multiple sculpt and paint layers; can also incorporate models (.OBJ, and .FBX) created in other 3D software tools such as Maya.
Mudbox scenes are created by digital art professionals and are used for still or animated digital art as well as for video game characters.
NOTE: MUD files can be exported to a 16-bit Photoshop .PSD file for touch-ups.

2. Textease Multi User Database
Database created by Textease, an educational tool designed for Information Communications Technology (ICT) teaching purposes; created along with one or more .TE files; allows multiple students to add and modify data using a single database file.
Textease Studio CT is no longer developed.
