There are 3 file types use the .MZP file extension:
1. MAXScript Zip Package
3ds Max MAXScript (.MS) file and related components saved in a compressed archive format; may contain scripts, buttons, and other data; typically used for distributing scripts and related files in a single file.
MZP files can be installed by selecting the "Run Script" command within 3ds Max.

2. WinArchiver Mountable Archive
Compressed file created by WinArchiver, an archiving utility that supports file compression, encryption, and spanning; compresses one or more files using a proprietary format; can be used for backup or for mounting a virtual drive using the "Mount Archive to Drive" option in the WinArchiver Virtual Drive software.
WinArchiver Virtual Drive can mount MZP files without first extracting the compressed data to the hard drive. This allows users to save disk space while still having real-time access to the files in the archive.

3. Mozart Percussion File
Collection of percussion instruments used to play back drum tracks in Mozart, a music notation program; may be referenced by multiple songs created in Mozart.
A default MZP drum kit file is included with Mozart's templates.
