There are 2 file types use the .NLS file extension:
1. Microsoft National Language Support File
File used by Microsoft Windows; contains language translation information that allows Windows to convert between different character sets; commonly found in the Windows\System32 directory.
Windows may display error messages if NLS files are deleted or if their permissions are incorrectly set. Consult Microsoft help documentation to fix this problem.
