2. Navisworks Cache File
Cache file created by Navisworks, a software package used for creating CAD design reviews; automatically generated by Navisworks when importing CAD files into the working file set (.NWF file); saves the model geometry and metadata in the native format for Navisworks; enables models to load more quickly.
NWC files can be generated by other software products such as Autodesk Revit. This allows other CAD tools to transfer model data so it can be quickly imported into Navisworks.
