There are 2 file types use the .OTP file extension:
1. Origin Graph Template
An OTP file is a graph template created by Origin, a data analysis and graphing application used by various scientists and engineers. It contains settings for a graph and is used to create .OGG graphs. OTP files can be used for a variety of graph types, such as a bar, pie, column, waterfall, 3D, line, symbol, polar, or statistical.
You can only open OTP files with Origin, which can be used to create, open, and edit OTP files. The program is only available for Windows.
To open an OTP file in Origin, select, select the "Origin Template .otp" file type, navigate to the OTP file location, and click .
NOTE: The release of Origin 2018 included an updated unicode format for saving workbook templates (.OTPU), which features performance advantages over the older, non-unicode OTP file format.

2. OpenDocument Presentation Template
An OTP file is a presentation template created by Impress, a program included with Apache OpenOffice (formerly known as OpenOffice.org). It contains a presentation, which includes a master slide as well as a content slide with text, images, shapes, multimedia content, transition effects, and other slide elements. OTP files are used for styling presentations with the same appearance.
