.PANO File Extension

File created by Windows Camera, a photo and video recording application; contains a photo generated from several different images taken from the same vantage point and "stitched" together by the Camera application.

To create a PANO file:

1. Open your Camera application, line up where you want your first photo taken and select the "Panorama" button, which will capture your first image.
2. Slowly move the camera to line up your next picture with the one you just took and it will automatically capture the next photo.
3. Repeat step 2 until you've completed the panorama view and click the check mark, this will create your PANO file.

NOTE: The PANO file was released with Windows 8.1 and is not compatible with earlier operating systems.
