There are 3 file types use the .TDB file extension:
1. Android Thumbnail Cache
Cache file generated on SD cards used in Android phones and tablets; contains small versions or "thumbnails" of images saved on the card; provides a more efficient way to browse through the images on the card since the device does not have to load each full size image.
The Android thumbnail file is generated automatically when an SD card containing images is loaded on an Android device. It is typically named SThumbDB.tdb and is not meant to be opened manually. The file is often hidden, but may be displayed if hidden files are viewable. It may also appear if you mount the SD card on a computer or other non-Android device.

2. eBay Turbo Lister Backup File
Backup file created by Turbo Lister, a program that helps users create professional eBay listings as well as edit and upload items in bulk; contains a backup of all eBay listings for a particular user; saved in the "Data" directory of a Turbo Lister installation.

3. Transcendence Game Data File
Game file used by Transcendence, a 2.5D space exploration and fighting game; stores sounds, graphics, AI scripts, space maps, and other game data; uses the filename Transcendence.tdb, and is the primary data file for the game.
