Document created in the Uniform Office Format (UOF), an open standard developed for Chinese office productivity applications; uses an XML format to describe the document and is compressed to reduce the file size; can be opened by OpenOffice and OpenOffice variants.
UOT files are similar to .ODT files created in the OASIS OpenDocument format. However, the two formats are not compatible.
NOTE: The UOF acronym also stands for Unified Office Format.
