There is only one file type that uses the .VBD extension:
Visual Basic ActiveX Document
ActiveX file, also called an "Active Document," created with Microsoft Visual Basic; often hosted on Web servers and can be accessed with a Web browser.
VBD files may require specific ActiveX components to run. If the necessary files are not installed, Internet Explorer users will be directed to the appropriate download page on Microsoft's website.
