1. VISE Installer Project
Project file created by VISE, an application used for creating Windows and Mac software installers; saves references to installation files as well as configuration parameters, scripts, and actions required to make the installation; can be built into a standard installer package.
VISE is available in multiple editions: VISE X (Mac OS X), Installer VISE for Macintosh (Mac OS Classic and Mac OS X), and Installer VISE for Windows.

2. IDRISI Vector Image
GIS image created by IDRISI Taiga, a GIS application used for analyzing and visualizing geospatial images; stores vector data using connected points rather than raster data used by IDRISI's .RST files.
VCT files are useful for storing mapped information such as roads and property boundaries. The vector data allows the features in the image to be zoomed without losing image quality.
