There is only one file type that uses the .VET extension:
Lectra Cutter's Must File
CAD file used by Lectra Modaris, a clothing design application; includes the "cutter's must" information, which describes the apparel style and the list of pieces to be cut; used with a corresponding .IBA file, which contains the geometry for the garment's pieces.
VET-IBA files are used for saving new fashions in men's, women's and children's clothing design. When designs are complete, they can be sent to a compatible pattern cutting machine to cut out the pattern on a piece of fabric.
NOTE: Lectra Modaris now uses .MDL files instead of VET and IBA files.
