There are 2 file types use the .VPD file extension:
1. MikuMikuDance Vocaloid Pose Data File
3D model file used by MikuMikuDance, a dance and rhythm synchronization game; saves bone positions for a character's model, which give it a pose; can be used in a series of poses that make up a dance animation (.VMD file).

2. VoxPro Database File
Database file created by VoxPro, an audio recorder and editor; contains metadata about the contents of the folder it's held in, which is retrieved and displayed by VoxPro.
You can manually rebuild VPD files that may be out of sync with its folder contents by selecting. Also, VoxPro will identify any out-of-sync or deleted VPD files and update or recreate them automatically.
NOTE: Audion Labs was acquired by Wheatstone Corporation.
VP_EMap.vpd - Default database file contained in every folder of every user account in VoxPro.
