There is only one file type that uses the .VRT extension:
3D format for creating interactive three-dimensional worlds that can be viewed by web browsers with the Viscape SVR plugin; stores data, such as textures, sounds, dimensions, and behaviors, that make up the 3D world.
NOTE: VRT files appear more commonly with the .SVR extension, which is the compressed version of the VRT file.
