There are 2 file types use the .VSP file extension:
1. VideoStudio Project File
A VSP file is a project created by Corel VideoStudio, a program used to create slideshows and movies. It contains video project data, including references to video, audio, and image files, and movie timeline settings and effects. VSP files are used to save and load movie projects.
You can only open a VSP file with Corel VideoStudio. To open a VSP project file, select, navigate to the location of the VSP file, choose the file, and click .

2. Visual Studio Performance Report File
Developer file created by Visual Studio application development software; contains performance metrics gathered during an application test; helps developers identify bottlenecks so they can optimize performance.
VSP files can be very large in file size. Therefore, developers sometimes save report summary files (.VSPS extension) from their VSP files so they can reduce the storage requirement. However, note that the VSPS file does not contain all of the data stored in a VSP file, since it contains a report summary.
NOTE: Visual Studio 2011 introduced the .VSPX format, which replaces the .VSP format.
