There are 2 file types use the .WPO file extension:
1. HOLUX Waypoint File
Waypoint file format created by HOLUX GPS devices; contains waypoint data including name, longitude, latitude, date created, and use counts; used for creating navigation routes and storing points of interest.
WPO files store data at a resolution of 1/10".

2. Technopress Waypoint 2D File
File used by Waypoint 2D, a program used for managing GPS points; contains XML code with tags for author, file, date, map, and waypoints (latitude and longitude); may contain several waypoints that are used for calculating routes and their lengths.
