There are 2 file types use the .XPJ file extension:
1. RoboHelp HTML Project File
Help project file created by RoboHelp, a help content authoring application; saved using XML formatting and contains references to HTML help files and other help content assets; also contains navigation, table of contents, and search indexing information.
XPJ projects are often used for developing help manuals and knowledgebases for software applications.

2. Micro Planner X-Pert Project File
Project created by X-Pert, a project management program developed by Decisive Tools; used by managers to design and track individual projects or integrate multiple projects together; supports up to 10,000 operations per project.
X-Pert can merge and import data from multiple XPJ files as well as Microsoft Project (.MPX) files.
