2. Software Overview

Apple iPhoto is a digital photo editor that is bundled with OS X. It is used to organize, edit, and share digital photographs. iPhoto was discontinued in 2015 and replaced by Apple Photos.

iPhoto has editing capabilities that allow you to make quick and easy touch ups to your images. It allows you to adjust exposure, remove red-eye, touch up blemishes, and enhance your image. It also has effects and filters that you can add such as black and white, vignettes, blurred edges, and sepia tones.

Another useful part of iPhoto is its image managing and sharing. It automatically groups your photos by even but allows you to customize the way they are organized. If you add a name to a photo, iPhoto will automatically detect the person in your other pictures and give you suggestions.

If you are a Mac user and want a program that makes it easy to manage your photos, iPhoto is already available to you and works great. If you really like using the program, you might want to check out the iPhone version as well.
